Video - Wild Tactics of D-Day: Bouncy Castles and Toy Crickets
Did you know that D-Day during World War II involved some really bizarre tactics? On June 6, 1944, the Allies used inflatable tanks and fake radio transmissions to fool the Germans into thinking the invasion would happen in Pas-de-Calais, not Normandy. Imagine an army of bouncy castles leading the charge! To add to the madness, paratroopers dropped behind enemy lines with toy crickets to communicate in the dark. One click for "Who’s there?" and two clicks for "Friend." And here's the kicker: some soldiers even used condoms to keep their rifle barrels dry! Talk about being prepared for anything! So, if you think your day is chaotic, just remember, it could always be a D-Day! Have you heard any other wild war stories? Drop them in the comments! Follow for more
