In a small town nestled by an ancient forest, children whispered about the old scarecrow that stood guard in Farmer Jenkins' field. Its stitched smile and button eyes seemed to follow anyone who dared to look too long. One moonlit night, Tommy, curious and brave, tiptoed closer than anyone had before. As he reached out to touch its rough straw, a whisper rustled through the cornstalks: "Stay away, Tommy." The scarecrow's smile widened, and Tommy ran, heart pounding, never daring to return.
