Eliza's hand trembled as she unlocked the attic door, the old key turning with a reluctant groan. Dusty beams of moonlight filtered through slats, revealing forgotten relics and shadowed secrets. She stepped forward, her breath hitching upon seeing a decrepit trunk in the corner. Opening it, she unearthed faded photographs of children with hollow eyes, their faces twisted in silent screams. A chill ran through her as whispers filled the air, growing louder, more insistent. The attic seemed to close in, oppressive and malevolent. As Eliza turned to flee, ghostly hands gripped her ankles, pulling her into the abyss below.
