Tommy was excited. The sun was shining, and his mom was busy. "I'll just go for a quick walk," he thought, ignoring his mom’s warning. He tiptoed outside, feeling free and brave. Suddenly, a big, barking dog appeared! Tommy's heart raced. He ran as fast as he could, the dog close behind. "Help!" he shouted, but his legs felt heavy. He spotted a tree and quickly climbed up, the dog barking below. Tommy realized he should have listened to his mom. After a while, the dog wandered off, and Tommy hurried home. He promised his mom he would never go out alone again.
