Timmy found his mother’s diary. "Married a ghoul today," it read. Ever since she left his father, strange things happened. Timmy’s new stepfather never ate, and shadows danced around him. One night, Timmy followed eerie whispers to the basement. There, he found his father, pale and weak, chained up. “Help me,” his father croaked. Timmy’s stepfather appeared, soaked in blood eyes glowing. “Curiosity is dangerous,” he hissed, grabbing Timmy. Timmy managed to free his father, but as they fled, his father collapsed. “Too late,” he whispered before dying. Timmy looked back at the house, his mother’s sad face with blood as tears in her eyes in the window, trapped forever.
