A blood-red moon hung low over Blackthorn Keep. Lady Elara, clutching a flickering lantern, whispered ancient incantations in the catacombs beneath the castle. Stones groaned as they shifted, revealing a hidden crypt. She sought her husband, Sir Devlin, lost to the plague. As she opened his sarcophagus, a rancid stench filled the air. His eyes snapped open, glowing an unnatural green. "You summoned me, wife?" His voice was a twisted echo. Elara stepped back, heart pounding. Devlin's decayed hand reached out, and shadows coiled around her ankles, dragging her into the abyss. The crypt sealed itself, and her screams were swallowed by the darkness.
