Once upon a time, three little pigs named Peter, Paul, and Percy decided to build their own houses. Peter, the carefree pig, built his house out of straw because it was easy and quick. Paul, a bit more cautious, built his house out of sticks, thinking it would be a bit stronger. Percy, the wisest of the three, built his house out of bricks, knowing it would be the strongest. One day, the big, bad wolf came to the straw house. "Little pig, little pig, let me come in," he said. "Not by the hair on my chinny chin chin," Peter replied. The wolf huffed and puffed and blew the straw house down. Peter ran to Paul's stick house. The wolf followed and knocked on the door of the stick house. "Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in." "Not by the hair on our chinny chin chins," the two pigs replied. The wolf huffed and puffed and blew the stick house down. Peter and Paul ran to Percy's brick house. The wolf, determined, went to the brick house. "Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in," he demanded. "Not by the hair on our chinny chin chins," the three pigs replied. The wolf huffed and puffed, but he couldn't blow the brick house down. Frustrated, he decided to climb down the chimney. Percy quickly lit a fire in the fireplace, and the wolf fell into a pot of boiling water. He yelped in pain and ran away, never to bother the pigs again. From that day on, the three little pigs lived happily and safely in their sturdy brick houses.
