Today, we're learning about the Ten Commandments! After leading the Israelites out of Egypt, Moses brought them to Mount Sinai. God called Moses to the top of the mountain, where He spoke to him in a powerful voice and gave him the Ten Commandments. These commandments were God's special rules for His people, teaching them how to live rightly. The first commandment is to worship only God and have no other gods. The second is to not make or worship idols. The third is to never misuse God's name. The fourth is to keep the Sabbath day holy and rest on that day. The fifth commandment is to honor your father and mother. The sixth is to not murder. The seventh is to stay faithful in marriage. The eighth is to not steal. The ninth is to not lie about others.
