Video - The Sheikh's Sacred Dream
Meanwhile, Izzet Pasha, who received the news of Katerina's death, was very pleased. As gratitude for this, he bought the side garden adjacent to the lodge he had built before and had a house built there for the Sheikh. Again, one day around that time, İzzet Pasha came to a dervish lodge in the neighborhood called Savaklar outside Eğrikapı, dressed in disguise. He sent a message to our master Sheikh and had him brought there. At one point during the conversation, when İzzet Pasha mentioned the inappropriate actions of Admiral Küçük Hüseyin Pasha and his unnecessary spending of Beytülmâl and stated that they wanted him to be expelled in a proper way, His Majesty Sheikh said; "We did not come here to be this poor executioner. We cannot do such a job, and there is no possibility of it ever happening. Because Hüseyin Pasha has many poor, needy, helpless and lonely people. God Almighty makes him a means for their livelihood. If only because I had built a lodge, If you curse me, I don't need a lodge." He left the lodge in a sad state. He intended to go to Hejaz that day. However, that night he saw our Prophet in his dream. Our Prophet came to the lodge and said; "Sheikh Ömer, this lodge was built with the consent of Allahu ta'ala and me. Sit here for up to forty years (until 1240 Hijri), then come back." they said. Upon this order, Ömer Rızâi resided in the lodge until 1824 (H.1240). During this period, many poor people, dervishes, spiritual guides, mujahideen and statesmen came and talked to him. They benefited from his advice. They were blessed with their prayers.
