Video - The Only Drug I Need
She couldn’t believe it when she overheard her fiancé on the phone saying, "The only drug I need." Tears streamed down her face as she thought of their future together. Determined not to give up on him, she prepared herself for a confrontation. When he came out of the room, she asked about the call. He smiled, saying it was his father discussing something he was working on, then kissed her and went to work. That evening, he came home, and after a kiss, her two brothers seized him and threw him to the ground. Tearfully, she said, “I’m doing this because I love you. I heard you this morning. Where are the drugs?” He gasped, “In my pocket.” Finding only a folded paper, she unfolded it and read, “My love, you are the only drug I need. I want to be a better man for you. I prayed for help, and God sent me you. I promise to love you forever.” She realized then that he hadn’t lied but was working on his wedding vows with his father.
