Video - The Miracle at Mevlana's Tomb
Watching the inside of the tomb and the dome, Prince Selim saw the decorations and decorations there; "I wonder why the previous sultans and viziers found it necessary and spent so much money." he thought. However, at this moment, the material curtains lifted from his eyes and he saw with horror that two lions standing next to the grave of Mevlana Celaleddin-i Rumi were attacking him. Immediately, "Yetiş Mahmûd Dede!" yell. Dede Mahmud took action immediately and saved the prince from being mauled by the lions. Then he turned to the prince and said: "My son, this is the capital of the sultans of truth. There cannot be such lions here. But they take action against those who tear the curtain of decency and show off wonders like this." When Prince Selim went to visit Mevlana's grave again the next day, he met Çelebi Hüsrev, one of the sultans of the spiritual world, at the door of the tomb. In the face of his dignity and majesty, the majesty that the world sultanate gave to Prince Selim suddenly disappeared. He showed great decency and respect to His Holiness the Sheikh. With this attitude, he received the spiritual help of the sheikh. Sheikh Hüsrev said to himself; "What can one person do if he rebels against the sultan of meaning and the sultan of the world?" He relieved his concern by saying. Thus, he gave the good news that he would win. He also pointed out that his savings were on his side. The next day, near Konya, Prince Selim defeated Prince Bayezid (1559). After the war, he came to Sheikh Hüsrev Efendi and thanked him for his prayers for victory and for his spiritual help. A great love arose in his heart for him. He gave many treats and compliments. He equipped and gave gifts to all Mevlevi sheikhs and dervishes. In addition, as gratitude for this victory, he had a fountain built for passers-by to drink from.
