there was a poor woodcutter who lived in a small village , One day, while cutting a tree near a river, his axe slipped out of his hands and fell into the deep water. he was sad because he had no money to buy another axe. He sat by the riverbank crying . Hearing his cries, a kind fairy appeared She asked him why he was so sad. He told her about his lost axe. The fairy, decided to help. She dived into the river and came up with a golden axe. "Is this your axe?" . The woodcutter shook his head and replied, "No, that's not my axe." The fairy dived into the river again and came up with a silver axe. Again, the woodcutter shook his head The fairy went down into the river one more time and brought up an old, rusty iron axe. The woodcutter's face lit up with joy, and he exclaimed, "Yes, that's my axe! Thank you so much!" The fairy was impressed by the woodcutter's honesty. As a reward, she gave him all three axes his own iron axe. The woodcutter went home happy
