Once upon a time, a young boy named Jack was home alone on a stormy night. As he sat by the fireplace, he heard a loud knock on the door. Jack's heart raced as he cautiously approached the door. He hesitated before opening it, but curiosity got the best of him. To his surprise, there was no one there. Jack shrugged it off as the wind playing tricks on him and went back to his spot by the fire. But just as he settled in, another knock echoed through the house. This time, Jack's fear grew stronger. He mustered up the courage to check again, only to find an old, tattered doll on the doorstep. Jack's eyes widened in horror as he remembered stories of haunted dolls. Trembling, he quickly shut the door and locked it. Suddenly, the doll began to move on its own, tapping on the door with its tiny plastic hand. Jack's heart pounded in his chest as he realized he was not alone. With a deep breath, he bravely faced the doll and said, "I am not afraid of you."
