Once upon a time, there was a greedy crocodile who lived in a river. One hot day, crocodile was feeling very hungry and saw a fish swimming nearby. The crocodile thought, "This little fish won't fill me up." As crocodile was about to catch the fish, he saw a deer drinking water by the riverbank. The crocodile became greedy and thought, "I'll catch the deer." The crocodile swam silently toward the deer, but just as crocodile was about to catch the deer, it noticed crocodile and ran away. Disappointed, the crocodile returned to find the fish, but fish was gone too. The crocodile ended up with nothing to eat. Feeling sad and hungry, the crocodile realized his greed had cost him his meal. From that day on, the crocodile became wiser and remembered to be thankful for what he had.
