Video - The Fright in the Fog
On a foggy October night, twins Emma and Ethan were alone at their grandparents' old farmhouse. Their parents had gone into town, leaving the kids to fend for themselves. As the house creaked and groaned, every sound seemed amplified in the eerie silence. Huddled together on the couch, they heard a faint, scraping noise. Their eyes widened, and they gripped each other's hands. They tiptoed to the window, peering out into the thick fog. A shadow moved across the yard, heading towards the house. Hearts pounding, they backed away and tried to convince themselves it was just a branch swaying in the wind. Emma grabbed a flashlight. "We need to check it out," she whispered. They crept to the front door and slowly opened it. The flashlight beam cut through the fog, revealing a small, matted cat on the porch. Relieved, they brought the cat inside and shut the door. With their new friend, the fear ebbed away. They knew they weren't alone anymore, and that made all the difference.
