In the countryside of Minas Gerais, the spirit of João da Fogueira roamed. His love for bonfires in life continued in death, as the flames at the crossroads lit themselves. Those who saw João near the fire met a fiery end, consumed by flames. The townspeople whispered of his malicious gaze, a harbinger of death. One fateful night, as the bonfire blazed, a lone traveler stumbled upon João. The spirit turned, his eyes filled with malevolence. With a wicked grin, he beckoned the traveler closer. And as the flames danced higher, the traveler screamed in agony, swallowed by the inferno.
