He also banned beards at court but kept his own. Hypocrisy much? Henry was so paranoid that he had over 70 houses to escape to if needed. He loved food so much that he had his own ‘Groom of the Stool’ to help him with his bathroom needs. He once threw a tantrum because his soup was too hot and had the chef executed. And, believe it or not, he was an accomplished musician and wrote a song called "Pastime with Good Company." Now, how’s that for a royal mic drop?
