Did you know that during World War II, the British government developed a plan to use exploding rats to sabotage German factories and mines? The plan involved stuffing dead rats with explosives and dropping them near enemy facilities. However, the plan was never put into action. Another interesting fact is that the United States military developed a pigeon-guided missile during the war. The idea was to have pigeons peck at a target on a screen, which would then guide the missile to its destination. This bizarre invention was never used in combat, but it sure makes for a fascinating piece of history!
