Video - O Império Cruel do Flúor
Once upon a time, in a world invisible to the human eye, where atoms and molecules lived in peace, there existed a villain feared by all: the terrible Fluorine. With its insatiable electronegativity, Fluorine was obsessed with stealing electrons from all the elements around it, making them its servants in a prison of chemical compounds. Each Fluorine invasion was quick and effective. It formed powerful compounds, trapping less electronegative elements in a web of polarized covalent bonds. Atoms such as sodium and calcium were easily captured, becoming powerless ions, subjected to the command of the cruel Fluorine. Among Fluorine's allies was Oxygen, an equally electronegative element, but which still maintained a sense of justice within itself. Fluorine used Oxygen to strengthen his empire, forming compounds such as carbon dioxide and calcium oxide. However, Oxygen began to question Fluorine's motivations and observe the misery of the trapped atoms.
