As the first light of dawn began to break, Max knew it was time to leave. He said his goodbyes to the friends he had made and thanked the Pumpkin King for the incredible night. Jack escorted him back to the edge of the forest, where Max turned to look at Moonlight Manor one last time. It looked different in the morning light, less grand and more like an ordinary old mansion. But Max knew better. With the pumpkin pendant clutched in his hand, Max made his way home. His heart was full, and he couldn't wait to share his adventures with his friends and family.
