Tuesday, I had the kids at the park. My infant was in a sling, and my toddlers were in the stroller. Suddenly, I noticed some creep started following us. One of the hardest things about being a mom is avoiding confrontations to keep my kids safe. Before kids, I would have confronted him or just run. But now, with three kids, I can’t run, and I can’t risk things getting violent. So, I pretended to be on the phone, acting like someone was almost here to pick us up. We moved to the part of the park with other moms and kids. Thankfully, it worked. The creep walked off. You have to think on your feet to keep your kids safe. Ladies, stay safe and stay aware out there. You are not alone.
