As midnight approached, the Pumpkin King announced the start of the Midnight Masquerade. All the guests gathered in the grand hall, where a dance floor had been set up. A hauntingly beautiful melody filled the air as everyone donned their masks and took to the floor. Max danced with witches, goblins, and even a dashing vampire prince. The night was filled with laughter, music, and magic. He felt like he was in a dream, one he never wanted to wake up from. As the clock struck midnight, the Pumpkin King raised his hand, and the room fell silent. "Tonight, we celebrate the spirit of Halloween," he proclaimed.
