Max spent the next few days preparing for the party. He decided to dress as a vampire, complete with a black cape, white face paint, and fake fangs. His mom helped him put together the perfect costume, and by the time Halloween night arrived, Max looked like he had stepped straight out of a gothic horror novel. As the sun set and the sky darkened, Max made his way to the edge of town, following the directions on the invitation. He walked through the forest, the moonlight casting eerie shadows on the ground. After what felt like an eternity, he finally saw it – Moonlight Manor. The manor was a grand, old mansion, with tall, arched windows and ivy crawling up its stone walls. It looked like it had been plucked straight out of a storybook. A sense of awe washed over Max as he approached the front door, which was adorned with intricate carvings of pumpkins and bats.
