Did you know that one of the most infamous sieges in history involved actual giant wooden rabbits? Well, not quite, but in 1184, during the Siege of Tyre, Crusaders tried to outsmart the city's defenders with a towering siege tower. This contraption was so tall it was dubbed "God's Tower." Unfortunately, the defenders set it ablaze using Greek fire, an ancient incendiary weapon that stuck to and burned everything it touched.
