Video - Love and Infamy: Carole Ann Boone's Life with Ted Bundy
Carole Ann Boone met the infamous serial killer Ted Bundy in Washington in 1974 and married him six years later while he was on trial for murder in Florida. Ted Bundy, one of America's most notorious serial killers, used his charm to win over many women, including Boone. During the trial, Bundy proposed to Boone in court, and they were legally married. Despite Bundy being sentenced to death for multiple murders, Boone remained loyal, visiting him frequently and smuggling money and drugs into the prison. They conceived their daughter, Rose, during these visits. Their relationship continued until Boone divorced Bundy three years before his execution in 1989. After the divorce, Boone and her children moved out of Florida, maintaining a low profile. She lived quietly in Seattle until her death in a retirement home in January 2018 at the age of 70.
