Lila the Ladybug wanted to reach the tallest sunflower in the meadow. She dreamed of seeing the world from up high. But the sunflower was guarded by the grumpy old crow, Croaky. “You’ll never make it, little bug!” Croaky cawed. Undeterred, Lila started her climb. She slipped and tumbled, but each time she got back up. “I can do this!” she repeated. She met a friendly ant who taught her to grip better, and a wise snail who showed her the best path. Finally, after days of climbing and learning, Lila reached the sunflower’s top. “Wow!” she marveled, seeing the world below. Croaky, impressed, nodded. “You worked hard, little one. Well done.” Lila beamed with pride, knowing that persistence had helped her reach her goal.
