Did you know that in Chinese mythology, there’s a tale about the legendary archer Hou Yi and his wife, Chang'e? Once upon a time, there were ten suns in the sky, scorching the earth and causing chaos. Hou Yi, a master archer, was tasked with saving the world. He shot down nine of the suns, leaving just one to provide light and warmth. As a reward, he received an elixir of immortality. But here’s the twist: his wife, Chang'e, drank the elixir and floated away to the moon, where she lives to this day with a jade rabbit. And that’s how the Mid-Autumn Festival began!
