Did you know that one of the most bizarre moments in royal history involves King Charles VI of France? Known as Charles the Mad, he once believed he was made of glass and would shatter if touched. To protect himself, he wore iron rods sewn into his clothes. During one of his infamous episodes, he ran wildly through the palace, howling like a wolf.
