Video - Jesus Embraces the Little Ones
Jesus and the Little Children: In the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 19, verses 13 to 15, we find the beautiful story of Jesus and the little children. Then people brought little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked them. In those times, children were often seen as less important and were not given much attention in religious matters. The disciples thought Jesus was too busy to be bothered by them. But Jesus had a different view. He said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” With this, Jesus emphasized the importance of childlike faith—trusting, pure, and humble. He showed that everyone, even the smallest and seemingly least important, is valuable in God's eyes. When he had placed his hands on them and blessed them, he went on from there. Liked the video?
