The train slowed to a stop, and Ben gathered his things, making sure Max was ready to go. Stepping off the train, Ben was greeted by the familiar sight of his grandfather waiting on the platform. The old man’s face lit up with a broad smile as he saw Ben and Max. "Welcome, welcome!" his grandfather exclaimed, enveloping Ben in a warm hug. "It's so good to see you, my boy." "It's good to see you too, Grandpa," Ben said, beaming. Max barked happily, wagging his tail as if he too was greeting an old friend. They made their way to the old truck parked nearby. Ben and Max hopped in, and they drove off towards the farm. The road was bumpy, but Ben didn't mind. He stuck his head out the window, feeling the wind on his face, Max's nose twitching as he sniffed the air.
