Video - Hatshepsut: The Pharaoh Erased from History!

Did you know that Hatshepsut, one of the few female pharaohs of ancient Egypt, was so despised that her successors tried to erase her from history? She ruled for over 20 years, during which she donned male attire and even wore a false beard to assert her authority. Despite her successful reign, which included monumental building projects and trade expeditions, her stepson Thutmose III went on a campaign to chisel her name off monuments and statues. He even replaced some of her images with his own! Talk about a family feud. Imagine being so disliked that your memory is literally carved out of history.
