There are individuals among them who wrote valuable works and educated students. Seyyid Feyzullah, Ayşi Mehmed, Hıbri Ali Efendi wrote works on fiqh, literature, dictionary and other sciences. Peçevi İbrahim, Kâtib Çelebi, Karaçelebizâde Abdülaziz, Vecihi, Hezarfen Hüseyin, Ebû Bekr bin Behram Dımışki, Ömer Avni, Rodosizâde Abdullah efendi: In the field of history, organization, geography and travelogue; Kavalalı Abdulhalim bin Abdullah, Surgeon Mehmed bin Murad, Mehmed bin Ali, Talati Çelebi, Salih bin Nasrullah, Ebi Bekr-i Rasi, Hayâtizâde Mustafa Feyzi, Abdullah Ahmed bin Beşir gentlemen about medicine; Molla Mehmed, Mustafa bin Yusuf, Kâtibzâde Mustafa bin Mehmed in the field of mathematics; Cevri İbrahim, Nâili-i Kadim, Neşati Ahmed Dede, Fasih Ahmed, Mezaki Süleyman Efendi are about literature; Derviş Ali, Tenekecizâde İbrahim, Hâfız Osman, Beyazizâde Ahmed, Dukakinzâde Derviş Mehmed, Şeyh Sunullah, Nefeszâde Seyyid İbrahim and Tokatlı Ahmed Efendi created valuable works in calligraphy. The New Mosque, whose construction was completed during the reign of Mehmed IV and opened for worship, is one of the masterpieces of Ottoman architecture. The Spice Bazaar next to the New Mosque was built as a foundation for this mosque.
