Did you know that in British history, King Henry VIII had six wives, two of whom he had executed? He also famously split from the Catholic Church to create the Church of England just so he could divorce his first wife, Catherine of Aragon. The Great Fire of London in 1666 destroyed over 13,000 houses, but surprisingly, only six people were reported to have died. The British royal family changed their last name from Saxe-Coburg-Gotha to Windsor during World War I to sound more English and less German. British spies used semen as invisible ink during World War I because it wouldn't react to the chemicals used to reveal secret messages.
