Did you know that the ancient Greeks had a unique way of sending powerful messages? They used a method called "ostracism." If a politician or citizen became too powerful or dangerous, the people would write their name on a piece of pottery called an "ostrakon." If a name appeared enough times, that person was banished from the city for ten years! Imagine if we did that today—might make political debates a lot more interesting!
