Ananse the spider found a golden shell by the river. "I'll keep this treasure," he thought. But Crab and Snail wanted it too. Crab, with his strong claws, snapped, "Give it to me!" Snail, slow but wise, said, "Let's race to decide." Ananse agreed, thinking he'd easily win. On the count of three, Crab dashed sideways, and Ananse scurried forward. Snail, however, took a secret path through the grass. Suddenly, at the finish line, Snail appeared first! "Hooray!" cheered Snail. Ananse and Crab laughed, realizing teamwork mattered more than the prize. They shared the golden shell and became best friends forever.
