Video - A Visão dos Ossos Secos: O Poder da Palavra de Deus
The story of Ezekiel in the Valley of Dry Bones is a powerful and symbolic vision found in the Book of Ezekiel, chapter 37, in the Old Testament. The prophet Ezekiel, who was among the exiled Israelites in Babylon, experienced this vision as a divine message from God. In the vision, Ezekiel is brought by the Spirit of the Lord to a valley filled with dry bones. The bones represent the people of Israel, who feel lifeless and hopeless in their exile. God asks Ezekiel if these bones can live again, and Ezekiel responds that only God knows. God then commands Ezekiel to prophesy over the bones, telling them to hear the word of the Lord. As Ezekiel speaks, there is a rattling sound, and the bones come together, forming skeletons. Muscles and flesh grow over the bones, and finally, skin covers them, but there is no breath in them. God then instructs Ezekiel to call upon the breath to enter the bodies. As he does so, the breath enters, and the once dry bones become a vast, living army.
