Video - A História de José do Egito: Fé, Perseverança e Perdão
Hello! Today we are going to talk about Joseph of Egypt, a notable figure from the Bible. Joseph was Jacob's favorite son, which created jealousy among his brothers. They sold him into slavery, and Joseph ended up in Egypt, in Potiphar's house. Even facing difficulties, he kept his faith. Unjustly accused by Potiphar's wife, Joseph was arrested, but distinguished himself in prison by interpreting dreams. When Pharaoh had dreams that no one could explain, Joseph was called and predicted seven years of plenty followed by seven years of famine. Impressed, the pharaoh appointed him governor of Egypt. During the famine, Joseph's brothers went to Egypt in search of food. They did not consider it, but Joseph, after testing them, revealed his identity and forgave them. He brought the whole family to Egypt, where they lived in butterflies. Joseph's story is a lesson in faith, perseverance and forgiveness, showing that, even in adversity, we can find redemption and success.
