He appointed forty hafizes. Since that day, the Holy Quran has been recited in this office without interruption for a second. These hafizes always perform their duties in twos. Since that day, this thought has been rocking in my memory like a clock ticker. I did not know that in Istanbul, the seat of the Caliphate, next to such a position, there was a voice of the Holy Quran that had not stopped for four centuries. Many Istanbulites and many Turks do not know either. The revolutions, states, and conflicts that have taken place in this palace for four hundred years have not been able to silence the voice of this Holy Quran. After realizing this incident, I seemed to have resolved this doubt as to why we cannot be removed from Istanbul.
